About The Position

Zoom Ride Health is a leading provider of Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) services, dedicated to ensuring individuals have reliable access to their medical appointments in Erie and Niagara counties. Our mission is to offer compassionate, safe, and timely transportation for those who face challenges in accessing healthcare due to mobility issues, health conditions, or lack of transportation options. The Role: We are seeking dedicated drivers to join our team and play a vital role in the community by assisting clients with their transportation needs. As a NEMT Driver, you will ensure clients safely reach their medical appointments on time, providing door-to-door service with a focus on comfort and empathy.

Requirements

• Be at least 23 years old.
• Hold or be willing to upgrade to a CDL with Passenger (P) endorsement driving license.
• Pass a comprehensive Background Check.
• Complete pre-employment drug and alcohol screening, DOT physical, and PPD test.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate a smartphone and use the Zoom Ride Health driver app.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on customer service.
• Compassionate and patient, with a genuine desire to assist others.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, safe, and courteous transportation services to medical appointments.
• Assist clients as needed, including help with entering and exiting the vehicle and navigating to and from the door of their destination.
• Maintain accurate logs of travel activities, including pick-up and drop-off times and mileage.
• Ensure the vehicle is clean, fueled, and well-maintained, adhering to all safety and hygiene protocols.
• Communicate effectively with clients, healthcare providers, and the Zoom Ride Health dispatch team.
• Comply with all traffic regulations and Zoom Ride Health's policies and procedures.
