About The Position

Some companies call them “Property Managers” or "General Managers," but at Prometheus our Neighborhood Directors do so much more. It's an exciting role where you will be juggling a lot of hats, strategizing and motivating your team! As a Neighborhood Director, your role is a constant blend of Financial Management, Customer Service, and Leadership. You will ensure your Neighborhoods achieve income expectations in your operating budget, track budgets, and make every dollar count. You are fluent in variance reports, market dynamics, and local rental ordinances. You are a problem solver that makes renting easy, helping Neighbors find answers to complex rental laws or dissatisfaction with service. You know “the buck stops with you,” but you are just as happy to pitch-in and help your team by touring Neighbors and answering phones whenever the office gets busy. You lead by example and show our Prometheans that tomorrow matters. You work closely with your Leasing & Experience Manager and Neighborhood Service Managers to ensure your teams have the resources and training they need to thrive. Their success is your success, and you have a natural passion to coach and develop your whole team to see them grow. Requirements

At least 5 years of property management experience.
At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
Up-to-date knowledge of housing laws and other legal issues affecting property management.

Nice To Haves

Multi-site experience is preferred.
A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
ARM, CPM or CAM designations are preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure Neighborhoods achieve income expectations in the operating budget.
Track budgets, including office supplies.
Make every detail and dollar count.
Understand variance reports, market dynamics, and local rental ordinances.
Solve problems for Neighbors regarding rental laws or service dissatisfaction.
Tour Neighbors and answer phones when the office gets busy.
Lead by example and motivate the team.
Work closely with Leasing & Experience Manager and Neighborhood Service Managers.
Ensure teams have the resources and training they need to thrive.
Coach and develop the whole team.
