About The Position

This is a full-time, work-from-home position. This role may be performed remotely from anywhere in the United States. Join our high-energy negotiations team and help drive savings for our insurance carrier clients while supporting prompt payment to healthcare providers. • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Reliable high-speed internet to support voice and data applications in a remote work environment.
  • Strong verbal communication and phone presence with the ability to confidently sell services to medical professionals.

  • Basic computer skills, including working within multiple systems and applications simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional coursework or training in business, healthcare, insurance, or related fields.
  • 1–2 years of experience in sales, call center, or other high-volume, production-based environments.
  • Experience with data entry, data processing, or working in an insurance/medical billing setting.

Responsibilities

  • Handle high-volume inbound and outbound calls (including to medical offices, billing departments, and other providers) to present and "sell" our prompt-pay program and secure appropriate discounts.
  • Accurately enter and update bill and provider data in our systems while speaking with providers, maintaining speed, accuracy, and minimal errors.
  • Review bills received electronically (EDI) from insurance carrier clients, verify key details, and determine next steps for negotiation and processing.
  • Clearly explain our prompt-pay offering, timelines, and terms to providers and billing contacts, addressing questions and overcoming objections in a professional, customer-focused manner.
  • Conduct research and basic skip tracing when bill or provider information is incomplete, including looking up NPI numbers, confirming provider locations, and identifying correct billing contacts or offices.
  • Work in a call center–style, production environment, managing a personal queue of bills and achieving established productivity and quality expectations (e.g., bills handled per hour, call volume).
  • Collaborate with team members, offshore vendor partners, and operations leadership to resolve issues, share information, and support department goals.
  • Follow established procedures and guidelines while adapting to updates in processes, systems, and client requirements.
