The Role is primarily responsible for technical solution selling and territory growth for Carestream’s Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) portfolio across Canada using a mixed model of direct end-customer selling and channel partner development. This position requires a high level of technical credibility and ownership across the full commercial scope. In Carestream NDT, the commercial model is intentionally lean and integrated, with sales professionals expected to manage a broad set of responsibilities spanning pipeline creation, customer education and demonstrations, installation coordination, training, and escalation support. In addition to the Canada Sales Responsibilities, the role will also support the growth of our Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) portfolio across international markets through Technical Expertise support to the broader International Sales Team, Product and Technical Training to Sales team and Channel Partners as required and Liaison between Supplier and the team in terms of Product Updates, Information Exchange and Technical Collaboration. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a strong bias for action, able to work independently while partnering effectively across Sales, Service, R&D, Manufacturing, and the customer.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline
  • 3–7 years of experience in Non‑Destructive Testing, industrial imaging, or a closely related technical B2B environment
  • Proven track record in technical solution selling or customer‑facing technical roles
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong understanding of NDT methods (radiographic testing preferred).
  • Familiarity with digital imaging technologies (CR, DR, CT) is a plus
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into customer-friendly solutions
  • Customer Training Experience
  • Strong consultative selling and technical solution‑sales capabilities
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, customer‑focused value propositions
  • High level of self‑organization, autonomy, and accountability
  • Excellent written, verbal, and executive‑level presentation skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with international markets and cross‑functional global teams is preferred
  • Previous experience in Sales and Channel Management is a plus
  • Hands‑on experience in Non‑Destructive Testing environments
  • Knowledge of radiographic testing methodologies
  • Familiarity with digital imaging technologies (CR, DR, CT)
  • Prior experience delivering customer, partner, or internal technical training
