NDT State Carded Radiographer Assistant - Corpus Christi, TX
About The Position
Turner Industries is seeking an experienced NDT State Carded Radiographer Assistant for a position in Corpus Christi, TX. The technician is responsible for carrying out standard rope access operations to perform maintenance, repairs, and other industrial work tasks on industrial petrol/chemical equipment while on ropes. The technician must have the ability to perform work that is physically demanding, have good communication skills and the ability to assimilate a large amount of new information. Responsibilities may also include rescue operations, technical reports, and administrative tasks. This is a local candidates only position with no per diem offered.
Requirements
- Minimum of 40 hours of Radiation Safety training
- Valid driver's license
- TWIC card
- Ability to pass a background check and a DISA drug screen
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
- State Card Required
Nice To Haves
- Radiographer Trainer Status Preferred
- NDT certifications / Digital Radiography training a plus
Responsibilities
- Carry out standard rope access operations to perform maintenance, repairs, and other industrial work tasks on industrial petrol/chemical equipment while on ropes.
- Perform duties associated with radiography (DR/CR) of plant assets in accordance with referencing code.
- Ability to follow and draw isometric drawings.
