About The Position

Acuren is recruiting full-time NDT/RT Assistants to support its operation in Duluth, Minnesota. The role assists with calibrations, nondestructive tests, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection according to written instructions, and records results. Candidates should be in Duluth or the surrounding area, or be willing to relocate. Because the work is onsite, local candidates are preferred. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must have experience, credentials, and history sufficient to be certified as Trustworthy & Reliable under applicable federal and state regulations, as determined by a thorough background check.
Motor vehicle driving record must meet company standards for driving company vehicles.
TWIC card.
Must be local to Duluth, Minnesota, or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

Set up and use nondestructive testing equipment.
Assist Radiographers with calibrating NDT equipment.
Assist Radiographers in conducting tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities using NDT inspection methods.
Record inspection results.
Assist with NDT procedures, including carrying equipment and performing related operations.
Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.
