About The Position

Acuren is recruiting NDT Level II Technicians certified in MT/PT/UTT to support operations in Brookfield, Wisconsin, and surrounding areas. This is a local callout and travel position, with travel of up to 50% throughout Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Iowa, Indiana, Michigan, and Nebraska. Work environments include corn and agricultural operations, pulp and paper facilities, gas plants, refineries, and pharmaceutical facilities. A sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available for qualified applicants.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Certified Level II in MT/PT/UTT.
Technical background in NDT methods and procedures.
Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret inspection results.
Knowledge of NDT equipment.
Experience in report writing.

Some college preferred.

Responsibilities

Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT inspection methods.
Establish examination techniques for objects under inspection and ensure strict adherence to safety regulations.
Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results.
Interpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters, and visual indicators.
Organize and report test results.
Perform specialized inspections.
May instruct and supervise others.
Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.
