About The Position

Acuren is recruiting Multi-Cert NDT Level II Technicians to support its operation in Commerce City, Colorado. The role involves setting up and calibrating nondestructive testing equipment, performing inspections using NDT methods, evaluating and reporting results, and conducting specialized inspections. Technicians may instruct and supervise others and perform other job-related tasks assigned by management. Local candidates based in Denver, Colorado, are preferred; candidates willing to relocate are also welcome to apply.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Level II in any combination of RT, MT, PT, UT, VT, or PMI; RT is required.
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to perform assigned NDT tasks effectively and interpret inspection results.
• Knowledge of NDT equipment.
• Experience in report writing.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
• Conduct NDT inspections to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects).
• Establish examination techniques and adhere strictly to safety regulations.
• Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results.
• Interpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters, and visual indicators.
• Organize and report test results.
• Perform specialized inspections.
• May instruct and supervise others.
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.
