About The Position

Acuren is recruiting NDT Level II RT/MT/PT/UTT Technicians to support operations in Bellingham, Washington. Candidates should be based in or near Bellingham or be willing to relocate; local candidates are preferred. The role involves performing nondestructive testing and specialized inspections, evaluating and reporting results, and may include instructing or supervising others.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Level II.
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret inspection results effectively.
• Knowledge of NDT equipment.
• Experience in report writing.
• Candidates should be based in or near Bellingham, Washington, or be willing to relocate.

Nice To Haves

• Some college preferred.
• Local candidates are preferred due to the nature of the role.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
• Conduct tests using NDT inspection methods to assess quality or detect discontinuities and defects.
• Establish examination techniques and ensure strict adherence to safety regulations.
• Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results.
• Interpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters, and visual indicators.
• Organize and report test results.
• Perform specialized inspections.
• May instruct and supervise others.
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.
