About The Position
Volt is immediately hiring a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Level II Inspector in Valencia, CA. This role supports a respected organization that services commercial and military aircraft. The position requires experience with Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) within an aerospace environment. The schedule offers both 1st and 2nd shifts.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of aerospace NDT experience
- Current Level II certification in MT and PT (NAS 410 or equivalent)
- Ability to read technical drawings, OEM manuals, and specifications
Nice To Haves
- Experience in an FAA Repair Station or MRO environment
- NADCAP experience
Responsibilities
- Perform Level II Magnetic Particle and Penetrant inspections on aircraft components
- Set up and calibrate NDT equipment
- Interpret test results and identify defects or discontinuities
- Complete inspection reports and maintain FAA/NADCAP documentation
- Support audits and FAA return-to-service requirements
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
