About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring products meet NDT specifications and VF quality standards. The position involves calibration of equipment, meticulous record-keeping, and documentation of daily/monthly logs. The inspector will also be responsible for filling out NCFs when issues are identified and adhering to established work instructions and procedures. This is a safety-sensitive position with additional duties as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to use all basic types of hand inspection equipment, i.e. hand tools (height gauge, caliper(s), micrometer(s))
• Basic computer knowledge (MS programs & company server)
• Must be able to work well with other departments and how to prioritize job duties
• HS Diploma or GED is mandatory
• Strong work ethic and integrity is a MUST, as well as ability to practice discretion when having access to or handling confidential information
• Strong verbal, written and team working skills
• Basic agility duties
• Must be able to pass - Visual examination - Near vision acuity & color contrast
• Mechanical aptitude
• Self-motivate
• Must be willing to learn the following: NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) disciplines in MPI, LPI & UT w/credentials as Level II extreme plus (Including Hardness, Magnetic Particle & Ultra-Sonic)
• Credentials at a minimum shall meet latest, NAS 410 and SNT-TC-1A qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Assure that products are compliant with NDT specification(s) and VF quality standards
• Calibration of equipment and record keeping
• Document daily/monthly logs and records
• Fill out NCF's, if issues are found with required information
• Follow and establish W.I. and Procedures
• Other duties as needed or required
