About The Position
SGS is seeking an NDE Technician (MT, PT, UTT) for a contract role in Coffeyville, KS, to support the Soil Air Interface Identification and Inspection project. This project is expected to run through October 2027, with potential winter breaks. The role involves performing various non-destructive testing tasks to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and API Code requirements.
Requirements
- Non-Destructive Examination Certification and MT, PT, and UTT
- Strong understanding of NDT techniques and industry standards
- Industry experience in the Oil and Gas sectors
- Maintain clean professional appearance and behavior
- Have organizational capabilities
- Have proper time management abilities
- Be self-motivated and self-managed
- Be able to work alone and with others (will work extensively with other crafts and Operations)
- Be prepared for work- have necessary PPE, tools, and equipment to complete tasks
- Safety Conscious
Responsibilities
- Obtain UTT thickness readings
- Field verifications of interfaces on inspection ISOs
- Inspection ISOs- sketch new and redline existing
- Inspection Piping ISOS P&IDs- Follow, interpret, and redline
- Ensure compliance with Engineering Specifications and API Code requirements
- Bring issues in need of attention to Project Pusher
- Obtain necessary permits to work (Inspection personnel only)
- Safety conscious- review job and work location for safety issues and hazards. Remediate concerns
