About The Position
Diamond Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) Inspector for a full-time, on-site position in Bolingbrook, IL. This role involves conducting a variety of NDE inspections on industrial components, equipment, and systems. The inspector will also be responsible for reporting findings, ensuring safety and quality standards, and collaborating with the team. The position requires travel as part of the work location.
Requirements
- Valid NDE Level II Certification in two or more of the following techniques: ultrasonic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, and/or radiography testing.
- Excellent knowledge of industry codes and standards, such as ASME, API, AWS, and ASTM, pertaining to various forms of non-destructive testing.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly and effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proof of classroom and OJT hours.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
Nice To Haves
- Phased Array (PAUT)/Shearwave/Straightbeam experience.
Responsibilities
