About The Position

As a NC3 (Nuclear Command, Control and Communications) Analyst you will be responsible for supporting the US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) Enterprise Center by conducting enterprise‑level operational certification of NC3 systems. The role evaluates each NC3 object's operational risk and its potential impact on the overall NC3 Enterprise to ensure mission readiness and reliability.

Requirements

• BA or BS degree required
• Must possess a minimum Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility required
• Minimum of five (5) years' experience in NC3 architecture to include supporting various operational ground, airborne, and maritime assets
• U.S. Citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

• MA or MS degree preferred
• Experience with NC2/NC3 architecture for more than one nuclear asset preferred
• Strong background in strategic communications systems preferred
• Previous experience working with Combatant Commands or in a Joint-Forces capacity preferred
• Previous STRATCOM experience preferred
• Previous experience in B-52, E-6, E-4 aircrafts preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess NC3 object risk by evaluating objective quality evidence (OQE) and stakeholder input, using analytical and operational expertise.
• Review NC3 operational requirements and technical standards to ensure compliance and performance for objects entering the NC3 Enterprise.
• Gather and evaluate the aggregate of operational, technical, and exercise artifacts for NC3 objects. This data provides the analysis required for certification recommendations.
• Develop and deliver formal certification packages and risk assessments to the NEC and USSTRATCOM leadership; generate and coordinate the subsequent certification memos for the Joint Staff.
