About The Position

FuntoNetwork is seeking a qualified NC-licensed LPR system subcontractor for the City of Charlotte / Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department's LPR replacement project. The City requires a complete operational solution encompassing equipment, software, cloud services, mobile connectivity, integration, testing, training, and maintenance. FuntoNetwork will verify the feasibility of the proposed subcontracting structure and confirm which entity must hold the required license before naming a subcontractor in a bid.

Requirements

  • Legal entity and NC Alarm Systems Licensing Board license details; identify which bidding/contracting entity will hold the required license.
  • OEM/integrator authorization and product documentation; current warranties and support commitments.
  • Comparable law-enforcement LPR projects with reference contacts and outcomes.
  • Preliminary solution architecture, installation approach, integration matrix, data-governance plan, and maintenance model.
  • Named implementation lead, technical team, availability, schedule, and itemized equipment, subscription, implementation, training, travel, and support quote.
  • Resume, cover letter, and supporting documents showing experience for this specific role.

Responsibilities

  • Confirm the North Carolina Alarm Systems Licensing Board license held by the proposed contracting company, its scope, expiration, and maintenance plan for the contract term.
  • Provide OEM or platform authorization, product availability, warranties, and a complete bill of materials and subscription schedule.
  • Design and deliver LPR cameras, mounting and networking hardware, mobile broadband, cloud storage, central management, real-time alerts, analytics, and approved law-enforcement interfaces.
  • Plan permits, field installation, configuration, migration, system validation, acceptance testing, user training, maintenance, and escalation.
  • Document privacy, cybersecurity, retention, access controls, audit logs, data ownership, and compliance with North Carolina General Statute ยง 20-183.31.
  • Supply qualified personnel, public-safety LPR references, insurance, delivery schedule, itemized pricing, and proposed subcontract terms.
