About The Position

As a National Business Line Senior Initiatives and Operations Manager you'll contribute to the development and execution of the Sponsor Finance business and broader National Business Lines strategy to achieve its goals and evaluate new business and performance improvement initiatives. You'll be responsible for evaluating and enhancing business initiatives by leveraging insights and experience of the internal and external business. Proactively looks for and evaluates solutions to current and future business opportunities and challenges. Responsible for supporting the Sponsor Finance and the National Business Line by evaluating new business development and performance improvements across business initiatives. Execute research and analysis including identification of key markets, market size opportunity, business value proposition, target market plans, etc. Identify associated business problems and risk to determine applicable solutions. Conduct a variety of business assessments, synthesize large amounts of qualitative and quantitative data. Provide decision-making support, data, and insights to support strategic decisions made by executives, and key stakeholders. Drive execution of recommendations through the business model and viability stage. Plan, implement, and operationalize new business initiatives. Initiate and lead National Business Line projects, including the development and documentation of processes to improve the efficiency of business operations. Ensure a change management and sustainment plan is in place to support introduction of new business initiatives, products, or services. Lead or support management of complex or stress sponsor relationships. Develop and execute remediation, restructuring, or exit strategies. Serve as a liaison between Sponsor Finance, business line leadership, and executive management. Provide clear reporting on portfolio performance, risks, and initiatives. Drive alignment across credit coverage and operations. Support development of credit standards, policies, and underwriting frameworks. Mentor team members and share best practices. Identify opportunities to improve pricing discipline, capital utilization and efficiency.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of related experience in Consulting, Strategic Analysis or similar field.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
  • Intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
  • Previous experience in financial services and management consulting firm and/or professional services firm experience.
  • Strong financial acumen, experience working with and interpreting data with analytic and strong conceptual thinking skills.
  • Excellent analytical and organization skills.
  • Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Masters or MBA in related field preferred.
