About The Position

Qualis LLC is seeking a dedicated and highly organized 746TS NAVWAR Test Manager to provide critical advisory services to the Department of Defense (DoD). This role is stationed at the 746th Test Squadron (746 TS) located at Holloman AFB, NM. The 746 TS is the DoD's premier test squadron for guidance, navigation, and Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR) systems. In this highly coordinated role, you will act as the vital bridge between defense customers and the squadron’s technical execution teams to ensure that critical Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) test programs are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Requirements

  • Requires Bachelor’s degree
  • A Bachelor of Science degree in relevant discipline. Experience may be substituted for education with customer approval
  • 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (experience with Microsoft Project highly desirable).
  • Must possess the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with senior staff and peers.
  • Communications must be clear, concise, and at the appropriate level.
  • Work must be timely, efficient, and of acceptable quality, with completed work meeting project/program objectives.
  • Personal and organizational interactions must exhibit and foster cooperation and teamwork, enhance customer relations, and actively promote rapport with customers.
  • Must adhere to all safety and security requirements.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • DoD testing experience desired.
  • 3 - 5 years in a testing environment

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the initial contact with customers, capturing customers' program objectives, capability requirements, schedule requirements, resource and schedule availability, and required deliverables
  • Coordinate with the squadron's test engineers, analysts, and instrumentation engineers to design, develop, and execute a successful test Program
  • Responsible for the timely development and delivery of test documentation and reports including Initial contacts sheets, statement of capabilities (SOC), program cost estimates, program schedules, test plans, test memos, test support summaries, test milestone documents, and briefings including test concept and design review, test readiness review, and test closeout briefings to 746TS leadership
  • Coordinate frequency clearance documentation with the Joint Navigation Warfare Center, USSTRATCOM, AF Spectrum Management Office, Joint Spectrum Management Office, FAA, and spectrum managers at various ranges and centers
  • Ensures all test program documentation is organized and filed appropriately per squadron guidance
