About The Position

Are you looking to apply your systems engineering awareness and project management expertise to help deliver next‑generation C4I and autonomous maritime capabilities? As a project management specialist, you’ll help translate operational needs into actionable plans and keep complex programs on track from concept through completion. In this role, you’ll support government engineers, technical leads, and systems architects by organizing and maintaining the requirements and program artifacts that guide system design and acquisition. You’ll enable effective planning by tracking schedules, monitoring financial execution, identifying risks, and preparing high‑quality briefings for senior Navy stakeholders. You’ll also assist the Assistant Program Manager for future variants of an Unmanned Surface Vessel program by supporting RFP development, reporting progress, aligning resources, and helping ensure disciplined execution across the team. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in DoD program or project management or government sectors
  • 3+ years of experience in Navy program management
  • Experience managing individual projects and a program of projects, including managing project scope, schedule, cost, and risk for all elements of a project and identifying, managing, and communicating project risks to senior leadership
  • Experience with project programming, cost estimating, acquisition, contracting, and scheduling, including the preparation of project programming documents and project trackers
  • Experience coordinating and de-conflicting requirements among multiple military, federal, and civilian stakeholders
  • Knowledge of program and project management concepts, principles, and practices, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control, and closeout
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
