As a Naval Combat Systems Analyst, you'll use your combat systems experience to support the development, testing, acquisition, and integration of ship combat systems. You’ll provide inputs and technical support on behalf of the Navy program office throughout all phases of the combat systems development lifecycle, including requirements development, system design, performance analysis, testing, systems of systems integration, sustainment, and logistics. Work in a team environment with senior staff supporting combat systems development, acquisition, sustainment, logistics, and readiness assessments.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience working with combat systems for the DoD or U.S. Navy as a civilian, military personnel, or contractor
  • Experience with U.S. Navy platforms, combat and networked systems, surface and air-launched weapons, C4I, sensors, and EW systems
  • Experience with the Ship Self Defense System (SSDS)
  • Experience with systems engineering
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Experience developing dashboards, databases, or data science tools, including Microsoft Power Apps or SharePoint
  • Experience with the Aegis Combat System (ACS)
  • Experience with Littoral Combat Ship (LCS)
  • Experience with NAVSEA and Naval Surface Warfare Center programs
  • Knowledge of DoD acquisition and logistics policies and procedures
  • Bachelor’s degree in CS, Mathematics, Physics, or an Engineering field preferred
  • Master’s degree in CS, Mathematics, Physics, or an Engineering field a plus
