About The Position
PACT Charter School is seeking a Nature Explorers Instructor for the 2026-2027 school year to join their Community Education team. The instructor will lead sessions for K-2nd and 3rd-5th grade students one day a week (Wednesdays) after school, from 3:30-5:15 pm. The program focuses on building students of character through various values. Sessions are held at the Elementary Campus and run for 8 weeks from August 24th to October 22nd.
Requirements
- Must be available to work on Wednesdays from 3:30-5:15 pm.
- Must be available for 8 sessions from August 24th to October 22nd.
- Must complete an online application through the AppliTrack web portal.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with elementary-aged students.
- Knowledge of nature and outdoor education.
- Experience in community education programs.
Responsibilities
- Lead Nature Explorers sessions for K-2nd grade students.
- Lead Nature Explorers sessions for 3rd-5th grade students.
- Facilitate after-school activities focused on nature exploration and character building.
- Manage a maximum of 24 students per activity.
- Potentially hire and manage a co-instructor if student count exceeds 22.
Benefits
- Pay of $25 if registered student count is below 22.
- Pay of $50 per hour if registered student count is beyond 22.
- Opportunity to hire a co-instructor paid $25 per hour.
