One Natural Resources Technician (Seasonal Worker, Full-time, 40 hours/week) position is available with the Colorado State University (CSU) Center for Environmental Management of Military Lands (CEMML). This position will provide entry-level training and experience on a range of natural resources projects supporting the Natural Resources Management (NRM) program at Eielson Air Force Base, AK. The Natural Resources Technician will support all aspects of Eielson’s Natural Resource Program. This may include activities ranging from biological surveys to supporting volunteer activities and working with the base and public community. Some potential activities may include processing acoustic bat detector data, invasive plant surveys and weed pulling, pollinator surveys, lead volunteer groups with trail maintenance and clean up, assisting with cultural resources surveys. This position is not-to-exceed 120 working days, starting early June. This position is onsite, and the Natural Resources Technician must have reliable transportation to the site. The ECDP is unable to provide relocation, housing, or relocation costs of any kind.
