Requirements

  • Certificate of registration as professional engineer issued by State Licensing Board
  • 12 mos. exp. as Natural Resources Engineer 2, 85742 or 12 mos. equivalent related engineering experience.
  • Transcripts are required for all coursework, degrees or educational accomplishments claimed on the application.
  • Applicants must submit a transcript (can be unofficial until point of selection) by the posting deadline (attach in the Additional Attachments section of the application submission, Step 6).

Responsibilities

  • Supervise lower-level Natural Resources Engineer(s) and Natural Resources Engineer Technician(s).
  • Produce and/or review Engineer sealed plan sets and bid documents for construction.
  • Provide technical assistance for development on future and current Abandoned Mine Lands (AML) projects sites.
  • Assist with development and implementation of engineering procedures/policies.
  • Act as a project manager for assigned projects.
