About The Position

ReNuke Services is seeking a Natural Gas Design Engineer IV for our client's site in Cincinnati, OH. The Senior Engineer manages work in engineering areas of specialization, with minimal supervision. The Senior Engineer is expected to develop advanced skills and to have the ability to work independently, with guidance limited to unusual or complex projects or issues. Workers in the Senior Engineer position are fully competent in the use of concepts and procedures. The Senior Engineer identifies problems, develops solutions, and takes action to resolve.

Requirements

• Graduation from a four-year college or university with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• Minimum of 6 years of natural gas engineering experience or 5 years of engineering experience with state registration as a Professional Engineer (PE).
• Experience must have been attained at a "Fully Meets" performance level.
• A Civil Engineer with structural knowledge would be a good addition to the team. Other accepted disciplines are mechanical, petroleum, etc.

Nice To Haves

• Familiar with Federal Code CFR 192
• Has any experience with natural gas relevant ANSI, ASTM, and API codes.
• Proficient in gas engineering theories and principles relating to the design in the responsibilities section.
• Proficient in practices of researching engineering and design issues, evaluating alternatives, making sound recommendations, and preparing and presenting recommendations.
• Ability to deal with a variety of individuals from various socio-economic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
• Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
• Familiar with principles of project management
• Experience in the utility industry
• Ability to work well with a team
• Effective oral and written communication

Responsibilities

• Be the 'district' engineer for 1 of our 4 districts in the Midwest region.
• Design Meter sets, services, stations, and review work for non-engineering groups in your district.
• All work in your district related to capital asset installation.
