About The Position

Dynanet Corporation is seeking a Natural ADABAS Developer with a focus on IT infrastructure and operations. The company has a nearly 30-year history of delivering cutting-edge solutions and empowering organizations to thrive in a rapidly changing digital landscape. This role involves working with customers to understand requirements, providing SME support to other developers, designing and developing software using Natural with ADABAS, and maintaining various software processes and connections.

Requirements

15+ years of experience on large scale applications in a mainframe environment
5+ years’ experience working with customers on defining requirements
Expert proficiency programming in Natural using ADABAS
Expert proficiency working with customers to define requirements
Strong ability to design solutions across multiple systems or sub-systems
Top Secret (T5 or T5R) clearance
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with the ability to prioritize, balance, and effectively advance multiple competing priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Ability to interact in a professional and collaborative manner with fellow Dynanet Teammates and the clients, and business partners that we work with
Ability and desire to challenge and educate yourself to support and advance IT services delivery in the Federal agencies we serve
Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills
Respond to team member and client requests via email, MS teams, or other communication means during core business hours
Active listening skills to understand clients' needs, and collaboration skills to work with other developers and designers

Responsibilities

Work with customers to understand user requirements
Provide SME support to other Natural/ ADABAS developers
Design solutions that meet or exceed customer’s requirements
Develop software using Natural with ADABAS
Develop and maintain software processes to transfer files using Connect Direct software
Develop and maintain queues and flows using IBM MQ
Develop and maintain application software connections using Software AG’s Entire X Communicator (Broker)
Use Atlassian tools including JIRA for requirements tracking
