About The Position

Symmetrio is partnering with a leading healthcare technology company to identify a National & Strategic Accounts Leader responsible for developing and expanding relationships with large healthcare organizations across the United States. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial leader to join a growing organization and play a key role in developing high-value, enterprise-level customer partnerships. The National & Strategic Accounts Leader will own relationships with large health systems, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), academic medical centers, and other complex healthcare organizations. This individual will develop comprehensive account strategies, build executive-level relationships, identify opportunities for growth, and navigate sophisticated healthcare purchasing and decision-making environments. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Clinical, Service, and other internal partners, you will coordinate resources across the organization to develop long-term customer strategies and advance complex opportunities. This role is well suited for a strategic healthcare sales professional who understands enterprise accounts, enjoys building C-suite relationships, and can identify opportunities beyond individual products or transactional sales.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field preferred.
  • Significant experience in medical device, healthcare technology, or a related healthcare industry.
  • Proven experience managing national, strategic, enterprise, or IDN-level accounts.
  • Experience selling complex solutions into hospitals, health systems, academic medical centers, or other large healthcare organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with C-suite executives and senior healthcare leaders.
  • Experience navigating long, complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Strong business development, commercial negotiation, presentation, and strategic account-planning skills.
  • Ability to understand customer business objectives and translate them into long-term commercial opportunities.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to coordinate resources across a matrix organization.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness and ability to travel nationally as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with integrated delivery networks (IDNs), large health systems, or national healthcare accounts.
  • Medical device or healthcare technology sales experience.
  • Experience with complex capital equipment, software, services, or enterprise healthcare solutions.
  • Established experience developing executive-level and C-suite relationships.
  • Familiarity with hospital capital budgeting, contracting, procurement, and approval processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for large health systems, IDNs, academic institutions, and other enterprise healthcare organizations.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior executives, clinical leaders, administrators, and other key decision-makers.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing customer relationships and develop new enterprise-level business.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of customer priorities, organizational objectives, technology strategies, and future business needs.
  • Lead strategic customer discussions involving multiple stakeholders, departments, and decision-makers.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Clinical, Service, and other internal teams to develop and execute comprehensive account strategies.
  • Navigate complex purchasing, contracting, capital budgeting, procurement, and approval processes.
  • Identify opportunities across the broader organization rather than focusing solely on individual products or transactional sales.
  • Manage long-term opportunities involving complex sales cycles and multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support commercial negotiations and strategic business development initiatives within assigned accounts.
  • Maintain visibility into account activity, opportunities, customer priorities, and long-term growth potential.
  • Represent the organization in executive-level customer meetings, conferences, industry events, and other strategic engagements.
