About The Position

This is a replacement vacancy for a National Shopper Marketing Manager. The role focuses on developing and implementing national shopper marketing strategies, identifying key shopper insights and behaviors to design effective activation programs, and adapting strategies for different channels. The position requires close collaboration with Sales and Brand Marketing teams, managing shopper marketing budgets, tracking campaign performance, and leveraging shopper data and analytics to inform strategy and optimize programs. The hiring salary range is $110-$120K, depending on experience. This is a hybrid work arrangement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in shopper marketing, trade marketing, or brand marketing (CPG/retail preferred).
  • Strong understanding of retail environments and shopper behaviors across channels.
  • Experience working with major national retailers and managing joint business plans.
  • Proven ability to deliver data-driven marketing programs with measurable impact.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement national shopper marketing strategies aligned with brand and commercial objectives.
  • Identify key shopper insights and behaviors to design effective activation programs.
  • Adapt strategies to meet the needs of different channels (e.g., grocery, mass, e-commerce, on premise, convenience).
  • Partner closely with Sales and Brand Marketing.
  • Align shopper programs with brand campaigns and product innovation launches.
  • Support customer-specific business planning through tailored shopper initiatives.
  • Manage shopper marketing budgets and ensure effective allocation of resources.
  • Track, measure, and analyze campaign performance, ROI, and sales impact.
  • Optimize programs based on data, insights, and learnings.
  • Leverage shopper data, POS analytics, and market research to inform strategy.
  • Evaluate shopper journeys and identify opportunities to influence purchase decisions.
  • Develop post-campaign analysis and reporting for key stakeholders.
