Overview The National Sales Representative – Outdoor Industrial, West Region is responsible for driving revenue growth across assigned Western states through distributor development, end-user engagement, and strategic territory management. This role owns territory revenue performance, pipeline development, and customer expansion within the Outdoor Industrial vertical. This role will drive growth through: New distributor acquisition and channel expansion End-user account penetration and enterprise engagement Increased wallet share within existing distribution partners Increased sales volume and reorder frequency Expansion into new product categories and seasonal programs Competitive displacement and churn reduction This is a high-impact, field-based individual contributor role with significant opportunity to build and grow market share in an underpenetrated region.

Requirements

  • 3–7+ years of direct B2B sales experience, preferably within industrial distribution, PPE, construction, utilities, or energy markets.
  • Proven success in territory growth and new business development.
  • Experience working with distribution partners and driving end-user pull-through.
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated and highly organized with the ability to manage a multi-state territory.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and disciplined sales process management.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the Western region (estimated 40–60%).

Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy & Revenue Execution Develop and execute a comprehensive territory growth plan aligned to company objectives.
  • Identify and onboard new distribution partners across the Western region.
  • Expand existing distributor relationships through increased assortment placement and inventory positioning.
  • Drive end-user penetration through job site visits, safety meetings, product demonstrations, and contractor engagement.
  • Identify and close new business opportunities across construction, utilities, energy, infrastructure, and municipal accounts.
  • Increase wallet share and multi-line product adoption within assigned accounts.
  • Implement pricing strategies within company guidelines to maximize competitiveness and margin.
  • Maintain disciplined CRM activity including pipeline updates, forecasting, and account documentation.
  • Distribution & End-User Development Support and train distribution partners to effectively position and sell RefrigiWear products.
  • Conduct joint sales calls with distributor reps to drive end-user pull-through.
  • Target large regional contractors and outdoor workforce employers to build brand preference.
  • Introduce new product releases and seasonal programs to drive incremental growth.
  • Monitor competitive activity and proactively position RefrigiWear as the premium solution for cold-weather protection.
  • Territory Management & Accountability Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Maintain strong call activity, follow-up discipline, and pipeline management.
  • Track territory performance metrics including new account wins, distributor growth, average order value, and reorder frequency.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and regional sales meetings as required.
  • Provide regular territory performance updates and strategic insights to leadership.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Inside Sales, Customer Service, and Operations to ensure seamless order execution.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on regional campaigns, promotions, and demand generation efforts.
  • Provide market feedback on product opportunities, competitive threats, and emerging trends.
  • Represent RefrigiWear with professionalism and integrity in all customer interactions.
