The Job: As the National Sales Manager you will be part of our US Field Sales team working as a remote employee. We are currently searching for a committed and strategic Residential Construction Pro Sales Manager to oversee a team of 8-10 professionals across the United States. This pivotal role involves aligning with the Home Depot and Lowe's Pro ecosystems, enhancing lead conversion opportunities, and expanding trade partnerships within the residential construction and Home Service sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and ensuring accountability for key performance indicators (KPIs) while providing training support on end-user sales and product knowledge.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related fields; relevant construction field experience may substitute for higher education.
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales or Marketing for Construction Supplies with a proven track record of delivering results
  • 3+ years of direct managerial experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, verbal and written communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the Home Depot and Lowe's Pro ecosystems, focusing on residential construction and Home Service professionals.
  • Ensure alignment with the strategic goals of our retail partners to maximize engagement with Residential Construction Pros.
  • Utilize opportunities for lead generation and conversion within the retail partner ecosystems.
  • Implement strategies to support lead conversion and drive sales growth within the residential construction market.
  • Develop and execute plans to engage end-users and convert leads into sales.
  • Monitor and analyze lead conversion metrics to ensure targets are met.
  • Identify and cultivate new growth opportunities within the residential construction Pro Market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with trade partners, including Framers, Roofers, Trim Carpenters, Electricians, and Plumbers, to drive engagement and sales.
  • Develop and execute strategies to grow trade partnerships within each retailer.
  • Define and manage performance metrics for the team to ensure accountability and tracking of key conversion and sales metrics.
  • Regularly review and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Coordinate and deliver training programs to enhance product knowledge, sales skills, and opportunity planning for the team.
  • Ensure the team is well-equipped to maximize conversions and sales through continuous learning and development.
