About The Position

The National Sales Manager, Biomaterials is responsible for driving adoption, utilization, and growth of BioHorizons biomaterials portfolio across key opinion leaders (KOLs), educational institutions, strategic institutes, private practices, and DSOs. This role operates at the intersection of sales leadership, clinical education, and downstream marketing, functioning with a national, strategic, and influence-driven focus.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Deep understanding of medical device sales strategy, customer segmentation, and consultative selling in a clinical environment.
  • Comfortable working across departments and influencing without direct authority.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and visual—particularly in translating clinical or technical data into commercial messaging.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in setting KPIs and tracking field performance metrics.
  • Overnight travel required (up to 60%) across the U.S. to support the sales organization, attend customer meetings and educational courses, and participate in trade shows and key events.
  • Must be self-directed, agile, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
  • Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current automobile insurance are required for travel.
  • COVID vaccination required if state where reside/works requires
  • Requires vaccination against Hepatitis B or signed declination form

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or advanced clinical/science degree preferred.
  • Preference for biomaterials or tissue regeneration experience.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Sales and Strategic Accounts Teams, to drive biomaterials growth while supporting private practice and DSO account opportunities through strategic account planning and joint sales calls.
  • Collaborate with the Universities and Institutions team to grow biomaterials adoption across dental schools and residency programs, while supporting faculty relationships, curriculum integration, and hands-on training initiatives to drive long-term engagement and utilization.
  • Identify, develop, and manage national and regional biomaterials KOLs and Clinical Champions to drive adoption, advocacy, and promotion of BioHorizons biomaterials.
  • Ensure consistent utilization of BioHorizons biomaterials within KOL clinical protocols, education programs, and external communications, as well as partnering with KOLs on lectures, hands-on programs, publications, and other educational initiatives that align with BioHorizons’ overall strategy.
  • Own the biomaterials sales strategy and overall performance at key institutes.
  • Lead downstream marketing initiatives, including the development of sales enablement tools, clinical selling assets, and translating clinical and scientific value into clear, actionable selling tools that support field sales.
