National Sales Director, Private Events

About The Position

Arcis Golf is seeking a dynamic and results-driven National Private Event Sales Director to lead private event sales across our portfolio of private and public golf courses nationwide. This role will oversee a team of private event sales professionals and drive revenue through a wide range of events, including weddings, corporate outings, tournaments, social gatherings, and more. The ideal candidate brings a strong hospitality or golf industry background, proven leadership experience, and a passion for creating exceptional event experiences.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in private event sales, hospitality sales, or golf/event venue sales
  • 3+ years of experience managing and developing sales teams, ideally across multiple locations
  • Proven success in driving revenue growth and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, reporting tools, and sales analytics
  • Willingness and ability to travel nationally

Nice To Haves

  • Background in golf course operations, country clubs, or resort/event venues
  • Experience selling weddings, corporate outings, tournaments, and large-scale events
  • Demonstrated ability to scale and standardize sales programs across multiple properties

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a national team of private event sales managers and coordinators across Arics Golf properties
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow private event revenue at both private and public golf courses
  • Drive bookings for weddings, corporate events, golf tournaments, fundraisers, and social events
  • Establish and track sales goals, KPIs, and performance metrics for all properties and team members
  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and local market strategies for each course
  • Collaborate closely with VP of Sales, course operators, general managers, Revops, and marketing teams
  • Standardize sales processes, pricing strategies, and client experience across all locations
  • Oversee pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting using Hubspot CRM and other financial tools
  • Train and develop the sales team, fostering a high-performance and customer-focused culture
  • Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and regional opportunities to inform national strategy
  • Travel to properties as needed to support team development and key client relationships
