This is a remote role well suited to an ambitious professional looking for an entry-level role in Project Management.

Requirements

  • High-level familiarity with project management processes and tools such as Microsoft Office, SAP, Salesforce, AI tools, and PowerBI
  • Strong drive for learning products and processes
  • Ability to build and execute a project plan from initiation to completion
  • Desire/Willingness to travel as needed for projects and learning opportunities
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Good negotiation and conflict management skills
  • Structured working methodology and ability to prioritize/manage multiple tasks
  • Strong customer service acumen and attention to detail
  • Willingness to take feedback, learn and grow in this role to develop project management skills

Responsibilities

  • Planning, coordinating and supervising the implementation of Varian products with our customers, contractors, and internal stakeholders
  • Working on single-product projects of diverse scopes and dependencies
  • Performing routine project management tasks to ensure customer compliance with technical requirements for equipment implementation and upgrades
  • Managing many projects concurrently for multiple products
  • Participating in and/or facilitating on-site visits and conference calls
  • Supporting customers and contractors in preparing for a successful and efficient product implementation or upgrade
  • Providing qualified input and feedback with support from subject matter experts (SMEs)
  • Identifying and mitigating any project risks or issues and escalating as necessary
  • Coordinating resources and equipment shipment schedules
  • Preparing reports detailing installation activities, including tight control of installation timeline and date forecasts
  • Providing feedback on process improvement, training, and documentation
