About The Position

Wilson Elser is seeking a highly skilled attorney with deep experience in litigation, claims management, and critical discovery strategy and execution to support their representation of a large, national logistics services provider. This dynamic role operates at the intersection of litigation strategy, large-scale discovery, and national claims oversight. The ideal candidate is agile, able to quickly pivot between priorities, manage competing deadlines, and proactively identify risks and opportunities across a complex, multi-jurisdictional docket. The attorney will play a key role in shaping discovery approaches, driving efficient processes, and partnering closely with clients and colleagues in a high-volume, high-impact environment. This position offers flexibility, with options for in-person, remote, or hybrid working arrangements.

Requirements

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in at least one state
• 5+ years of litigation and experience
• Strong discovery experience required
• Proven ability to manage high-volume work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
• Strong client counseling and relationship management skills
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Advanced technical proficiency with litigation and discovery tools

Nice To Haves

• Experience handling multi-jurisdictional litigation and/or national claims programs preferred
• Background in transportation, logistics, trucking, or related regulatory frameworks preferred
• Familiarity with emerging e-commerce or gig economy legal issues is a plus

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a nationwide litigation caseload from inception through resolution in a fast-moving environment
• Conduct thorough investigations and proactively spot discovery issues unique to each case
• Develop and craft strategic discovery responses tailored to individual cases while ensuring alignment with overarching national litigation strategies
• Continuously monitor and evaluate discovery processes to identify opportunities for improvement and risk mitigation
• Manage and continuously improve a national claims program, identifying efficiencies and scalable solutions
• Partner closely with attorneys, partners, and client to develop case strategy and discovery plans
• Collaborate across offices and practice groups to deliver seamless, team-oriented service
• Adapt quickly to shifting priorities, emerging legal issues, and evolving client needs
