Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/innovative-medicine The Dermatology Field Director of Thought Leader Liaison (TLL), East, is a senior customer-facing position within the IMM US commercial organization focused on working closely with Dermatology Key Opinion Leaders across a region as the Dermatology expert.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • A minimum of 12 years of related industry experience.
  • 4+ years of people management (i.e. district manager) and/or Marketing management experience.
  • Experience with customer relationship management (thought leader development, speaker bureau management, clinical training, etc.).
  • Consistent track record of success.
  • Interpersonal flexibility to effectively interact with a broad range of personnel.
  • Builds effective teams that work well across functions and groups (Collaboration and Teaming).
  • Advanced presentation skills and business insight.
  • Ability to process complex information and quickly identify innovative solutions that meet both internal and business partner requirements.
  • Advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50-75% throughout the United States, including overnight, weekend travel and time spent in the Horsham, PA office.
  • Ability to attend evening events.
  • Candidate should reside within a reasonable distance to a major airport.
  • A valid driver's license issued in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) team.
  • Building the franchise’s medical education strategy, including oversight of the promotional speaker bureau.
  • Co-leading Key Opinion Leader engagement by developing and maintaining relationships with current and future thought leaders. This includes Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, and Biologic Coordinators.
  • Playing a heavy influence role in developing effective medical education content and insights planning in partnership with the Brand Marketing teams.
  • Hiring, leading and developing Thought Leader Liaisons.
  • Establishing the metrics and objectives for the TLL teams.
  • Driving the Key Opinion Leader (KOL) Engagement Plan Strategy and Execution.
  • Providing oversight and communication of speaker bureau performance metrics.
  • Providing oversight of processes for selection, training, and compliance requirements for National Faculty speakers.
  • Partnering with brand marketing to build informative content for promotional speaker bureau across both TREMFYA and ICOTYDE, and in partnership with the Rheumatology TLL team as appropriate.
  • Identifying Dermatology insights from key opinion leaders to inform Dermatology marketing strategy across both TREMFYA and ICOTYDE.
  • Building an advisory board plan to identify local market insights to inform local market strategies across both TREMFYA & ICOTYDE.
  • Partnering with SLD (Sales Learning & Development) to build and manage new hire onboarding program.
  • Partnering with Marketing Operations to lead all aspects of the operational execution for the promotional speaker bureau.
  • Exploring and implementing program formats and delivery options to enhance educational reach.
  • Demonstrating collaborative and effective co-leadership in partnering with the West TLL Director and in close partnership with the Rheum TLL Director.
  • Maintaining complete understanding of ACCME/HCC/Pharma Guidelines.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to the legal and regulatory guidelines for medical education.
  • Operating expenses oversight and management.
