DePuy Synthes Canada is recruiting for National Director Strategic Customers. Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone Orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.

Requirements

  • University Bachelor’s degree is required
  • 8-10 years of experience in Sales or Marketing Leadership &/or Key Account Management is required
  • 3-5 years of people management experience is required
  • A minimum of 25% travel required (flying and driving)

Nice To Haves

  • MBA in Science &/or Business Management is preferred
  • Experience in MedTech, Pharma, SaaS within life-sciences or Biotech is preferred
  • Knowledge of AI tools, MS Dynamics & Co-pilot is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overall management of key stakeholders playing an influential role in shaping the healthcare landscape and access to innovation.
  • Develop and lead a team to achieve short-term and long-term business objectives and forge strategic relationships across healthcare systems.
  • Responsible for overarching tender strategies in collaboration with Sales and Marketing leaders for the business unit to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Responsible for driving adoption of key internal commercial transformation initiatives.
  • Leading new growth opportunities by building Go-To-Market models, including but not limited Enabling Technologies and private markets.
  • Contribute to shaping Depuy Synthes trajectory in Canada by being an active member of its leadership team.
  • Support Marketing initiatives
  • Provide input for annual business plans
  • Build tools and processes for market access for Enabling Technologies
