About The Position

Join KEYENCE as a National Business Support Specialist in Chicago, IL. This service-oriented position supports both sales and administrative functions, helping to drive business success and enhance customer experience. You’ll coordinate events, manage internal systems, and serve as a key liaison between our teams and clients. The role involves driving sales culture, maintaining a positive office environment, managing customer inquiries, coordinating training events, organizing office events, traveling to support national initiatives, researching local company news, maintaining internal systems, and processing customer requests.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and manage office deliveries.
  • Willingness to travel monthly (1–2 overnight stays).

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in customer service or sales support preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales culture and support office development to create new business opportunities.
  • Maintain a positive and productive office environment.
  • Participate in and present during office meetings.
  • Manage inbound customer calls and emails related to technical support.
  • Coordinate and facilitate internal and external training events at customer sites.
  • Organize office events, including the annual holiday party.
  • Travel monthly to other Keyence offices (1–2 overnight stays) to support national initiatives.
  • Research and share relevant local company news to support sales efforts.
  • Maintain and update internal systems with customer and company data.
  • Process internal customer requests efficiently and accurately.
