About The Position

We’re recruiting a National Business Development Manager for an established industrial safety solutions group looking to expand its presence across the food service & hospitality markets. Reporting to the VP of Sales, you’ll identify where the business can grow, open new accounts and develop partnerships with end users and channel partners. This is an opportunity to influence the national sales approach and turn your market knowledge into new revenue.

Requirements

At least five years’ relevant sales or business development experience.
Established knowledge of the food service, hospitality, and grocery/retail markets.
A track record of winning new accounts.
Comfortable managing national opportunities.
Experience negotiating with senior stakeholders.
Ability to take responsibility for delivering growth.

Nice To Haves

Experience selling through distributors or foodservice channels.
Experience winning business with restaurant groups, hospitality operators or grocery retailers.
Experience developing relationships both directly and through distributors.

Responsibilities

Win new business across restaurant, food service, hospitality and grocery/retail accounts.
Build relationships with senior decision-makers and develop opportunities across customers with multiple locations.
Work with distributors and channel partners to extend market reach and support sales.
Develop a clear market plan, manage your pipeline and work with Sales and Marketing to convert opportunities.
Help customers and partners understand the product portfolio and its applications.
