Requirements

  • Post Secondary Degree
  • 3 - 5 years in elevator industry or related experience, or a similar industry which includes the sales and servicing of capital equipment
  • Proficient in MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Communication: Communicate clearly and articulately
  • Customer Service: Demonstrate customer focus through improving performance; Demonstrate commitment to customer service through improving customer satisfaction
  • Negotiation: Ability to negotiate both persuasively and effectively in a tactful manner so as to gain customers’ acceptance

  • Presentation: Ability to present materials clearly and engage audience
  • Problem Solving: ability to fully understand the problem, assess responsibility, explore alternatives, develop creative solutions and negotiate settlements

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and drive sales strategies and initiatives for national and key accounts in support of strategic and financial objectives.
  • Negotiate and support key sales activity for all products within our portfolio.
  • Work with local District/Branch Managers and Sales Representatives to assist them in achieving objectives.
  • Lead and support sales negotiations, including the development of sales proposals, and oversee the execution of large project efforts for national and key accounts.
  • Review sales performance and market progress with the Senior Management Team and propose corrective actions.
  • Monitor sales and contract performance KPIs to ensure optimal performance.
  • Coordinate and align sales performance and actions implementation in line with Field Operations.
  • Proactively build and maintain favorable client relationships with National Accounts.
  • Strategically plan and ensure increases in Schindler’s wallet share across the National Account portfolio in Existing Installation, New Installation and Modernization revenues.
  • Coordinate relationships between customer decision makers to Schindler local and corporate leadership.
  • Plan and facilitate meetings and relationship building events.
  • Remain up to date and engaged in National Account development projects.
  • Ensure customer needs or enquiries are met in a prompt, professional manner through effective communications, and follow customer complaints to satisfactory resolution.
  • Ensure all national account contractual requirements are being met.
  • Interpret customer concerns and escalate to the necessary internal resources to ensure customer satisfaction while aligning with the branches.
  • Educate national account customers on technology and products.
  • Understand financial goals and expectations of the company, and meet and/or exceed assigned sales and customer objectives.
  • Understand and analyze the national account portfolio to identify opportunities for improvements and customer investment, including those which may involve modernization and construction.
  • Plan, develop, and implement sales strategies to lead negotiations for national accounts that are consistent with internal strategy while reflecting customer requirements and competitive offerings.
  • Assemble and present information for all types of offerings, including service, maintenance, repair, modernization, and construction.
  • Source, analyze, communicate, and apply competitive data for competitive advantage to the company, and provide recommendations for market target pricing.
  • Develop sales proposals and prepare estimates for the sale of company products and services.
  • Prepare and maintain required customer information and files in accordance with established procedures.
  • Work in cooperation with Contract Control on sales contract agreements.
  • Support as an escalation in accounts receivable management for assigned accounts.
  • Provide guidance and support on billing and work order management systems.
  • Manage National Accounts Coordinator and ensure all key and national accounts administration tasks are successfully completed.
