About The Position

The National Account Sales Executive is a results-driven B2B sales hunter responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing new national account opportunities. This role is built for someone who is confident in outbound sales, comfortable navigating complex buying groups, and persistent enough to break into new accounts. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of building pipeline, developing relationships with decision-makers, presenting strategic solutions, and closing revenue-generating deals. This is not a passive account management role. Success requires consistent prospecting, disciplined follow-up, strategic selling, and the ability to move opportunities through the full sales cycle.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience
  • Proven track record of prospecting, pipeline development, and closing new business
  • Strong hunter mentality with comfort in cold outreach and high-rejection sales environments
  • Experience selling to business owners, executives, marketing leaders, procurement teams, or multi-location organizations
  • Ability to manage a full sales cycle independently
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and accountable to activity and revenue goals
  • CRM proficiency and disciplined pipeline management
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50% based on business needs

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling fleet graphics, vehicle advertising, out-of-home advertising, branding, marketing services, signage, print, or related B2B solutions
  • Experience selling into national accounts, franchise systems, transportation, logistics, home services, food and beverage, retail, or multi-location businesses
  • HubSpot or Salesforce experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Prospect consistently through outbound calls, email, LinkedIn, networking, trade shows, referrals, and industry research
  • Identify and target key decision-makers within national and regional brands
  • Break through gatekeepers and create opportunities with companies that can benefit from fleet graphics and vehicle advertising solutions
  • Build, manage, and advance a high-quality pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Pursue new revenue opportunities with urgency, discipline, and follow-through
  • Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach through discovery, proposal, negotiation, and close
  • Conduct effective discovery to understand client goals, fleet needs, brand standards, budgets, and decision timelines
  • Deliver persuasive, high-impact presentations that connect our solutions to client business objectives
  • Develop strategic proposals in partnership with internal teams
  • Negotiate confidently and close deals that support company revenue goals and client success
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales activity, pipeline, and revenue targets
  • Research target industries, competitors, market trends, and prospective accounts
  • Leverage trade shows, industry events, and professional networking to create new sales opportunities
  • Stay informed on trends in fleet branding, advertising, transportation, franchising, and national account buying behavior
  • Position Advertising Vehicles competitively in the marketplace
  • Partner with Marketing, Design, Production, Installation, Operations, and Account Management to ensure a smooth client experience
  • Communicate client expectations clearly and proactively throughout the sales process
  • Help ensure sold programs are realistic, executable, and aligned with operational capabilities
  • Contribute to sales meetings by sharing pipeline updates, market insights, challenges, and wins
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and complete CRM records
  • Track prospecting activity, follow-ups, pipeline movement, next steps, and deal status
  • Use CRM data to manage priorities, forecast opportunities, and drive consistent sales execution
  • Participate in regular sales meetings, pipeline reviews, and performance discussions
