Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, insurance or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in insurance sales, distribution, or account management, preferably with independent agents or national networks.
  • Demonstrated success in managing large, complex accounts and achieving premium growth targets.
  • Strong background in insurance sales, account management, and relationship building, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of property and casualty (P&C) insurance products and markets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to use metrics to inform strategies.
  • Experience working with insurance aggregators, franchises, or large independent agency groups.
  • Familiarity with emerging technology and digital tools in insurance distribution.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think long-term and execute tactical initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with national and regional agency groups.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between HOA/Porch and our largest agency groups, networks, franchises, and aggregators.
  • Develop and execute tailored account plans to grow product distribution, shelf space, and market share within key accounts.
  • Collaborate with partners to achieve premium growth, agent engagement, and retention goals.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to agency partners, providing solutions to challenges, identifying opportunities for operational improvements, and enhancing partner satisfaction.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions. Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership to refine strategies and offerings.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including underwriting, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of strategies and fulfillment of partner needs.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including premium growth, agency performance, and profitability. Use data to inform decision-making and optimize account management strategies.
  • Provide training and resources to agency partners to help them succeed with HOA/Porch products. Support their efforts to onboard and develop sub-agents.
