About The Position

The National Account Manager is responsible for managing high-value national motor carrier accounts, driving revenue growth, and strengthening strategic partnerships across key markets. This role ensures TRAC remains the preferred chassis provider by delivering value-driven solutions, expanding market presence, and aligning customer needs with organizational objectives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in account management, sales, or logistics industry.
  • Proven ability to manage large, complex national accounts.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify growth opportunities and execute initiatives.
  • Ability to travel as needed to support national accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of National Motor Carrier accounts representing a significant portion of Motor Carrier annual revenue.
  • Lead business development efforts within various national markets
  • Build, manage, and expand strong relationships with major trucking companies, positioning TRAC as the preferred chassis provider.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, developing a deep understanding of operational needs, challenges, and long-term goals.
  • Identify and execute opportunities to increase chassis utilization and introduce new service offerings.
  • Strengthen TRAC’s presence across national trucking networks through strategic engagement and partnership development.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements, structuring competitive and sustainable deals that align customer requirements with company objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent service delivery, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor account performance, identify risks and opportunities, and develop action plans to drive growth.
