NASCAR Event Intern
About The Position
FanGate Solutions is seeking eager, highly motivated, and friendly individuals to work as event staff for the NASCAR Cup Series event at Bristol Motor Speedway. This customer service-driven role offers the opportunity to gain experience in ticket services and special events, providing live entertainment and sports venues with a professional team of trained event day staff. The philosophy is to treat clients' fans with knowledgeable, reliable, and fan-friendly service. This position is for one event based in Bristol, TN, from September 17th-19th. Event staff will receive training on giving top-notch customer service to exceed client expectations and increase fans' overall experience, as well as venue information.
Requirements
- Willing to travel to Bristol, TN on the weekend of September 17th-19th
- Ability to work untraditional hours including weekends and evenings
- Must be 18 years of age or older with at least a high school diploma or GED
Nice To Haves
- College student majoring in advertising, marketing, sport management, or related fields is a plus
- Eager to start & build a career in sports and live entertainment
- Ability to deliver exceptional service by anticipating the guests’ needs and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Strong interpersonal skills that complement a team-oriented work ethic
- Must be neat and presentable at all times
Responsibilities
- Aid guests with accurate race and promotional information
- Provide problem solving techniques to assist all customer inquiries and concerns
- Represent FanGate Solutions and its clients in a professional and ethical manner
- Punctual and self-motivated with an attention to detail
- Communicate all pertinent information with clients and guests
- Provide & maintain the highest level of customer service to clients and guests
- Assist with mobile ticketing support and troubleshooting
- Review event tickets and give accurate information on seating location
- Scan and validate race tickets at the gates for entry
- Perform other duties & responsibilities as assigned by managers
