Raytheon’s Land Air Defense Systems (LADS) Engineering Execution Department is seeking a skilled and motivated Systems Engineering (SE) Cross Product Team Lead (CPTL) to support the NASAMS Product Line. The NASAMS SE CPTL is responsible for leading the NASAMS Systems Engineering team’s execution of all Systems Engineering scope across the NASAMS Product Line. This position is onsite based in Tewksbury, MA.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience in Air Defense Systems, Systems Engineering production or development.
  • Experience managing cost, schedule and execution for technical projects.
  • Experience leading/contributing to proposals, such as creating BOEs, contributing to leadership proposal reviews
  • Program Manager Certification level six (6) or ability to obtain within the first year in the role
  • Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. Citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with other IPT/CPT leads from the various functions and products
  • Support and lead Internal Research and Development for future capability upgrades
  • System integration and test support, including live fire test events
  • Provide technical oversight and management for a variety of Systems Engineering efforts: Concept and requirements development (including decomposition and flowdown) within a mature product-line, Concept of Operations (CONOPS) development and design, Algorithm optimization and development, Multi-disciplinary development efforts across the kill-chain for an Air and Missile Defense System, Collaboration with customer to bring new capabilities to the warfighter, Functional analysis of real world and test data; trade studies to bring advanced features to fielded system
  • Support and lead Internal and External Program and Design Reviews
