About The Position

CACI is seeking Space Vehicle Modeling and Simulation Engineers to support NASA human-rated spacecraft systems at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. The work supports the Moon Base program and NASA space vehicles for lunar surface exploration. Engineers develop mathematical models and simulations, integrate simulations, and develop distributed simulations on Linux PC platforms using the Trick Simulation Environment and Development Toolkit. The role also includes improving models and simulation scenarios, analyzing simulation data to assess system characteristics and performance, enhancing simulation architecture, and supporting model validation and software verification across spacecraft, systems, and subsystems. The position calls for a self-motivated, technically capable team member with strong communication and customer relationship skills, flexibility, and enthusiasm for space exploration. Travel may be up to 10%.
