Position Overview: This is a Second shift role Hours are 3:15 PM to 11:45 PM We are seeking a Nanotechnology Technician to support ongoing research, development, and production initiatives involving nano-scale materials, coatings, and precision manufacturing. This role is ideal for a technically minded individual with a strong mechanical aptitude and interest in advanced materials science. The Nanotechnology Technician will work closely with engineers and production teams to assist in the fabrication, testing, and inspection of nano-engineered components that enhance product performance and reliability.
Requirements
- Prior experience in manufacturing, laboratory, or cleanroom environments preferred.
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise technical procedures.
- Willingness to learn and grow within a highly technical and evolving field.
Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and maintain specialized equipment used for nanofabrication, coating, and surface treatment.
- Assist with sample preparation, testing, and data collection to support research and production efforts.
- Perform inspections and analysis using microscopes, measurement instruments, and other analytical tools.
- Record and maintain process data, test results, and quality documentation.
- Follow established procedures and safety protocols when handling chemicals, materials, and sensitive equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy, consistency, and efficiency in all operations.
