About The Position

A warm and hands-on family in New York City is seeking an exceptionally experienced and intuitive Nanny to join their family and support the care of their three children, ages 7, 5, and 1. This is a household where the mother is present and actively involved in her children’s lives, so the ideal candidate will be someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, complements a parent’s natural rhythm, and brings such a strong foundation of experience that they can hit the ground running from day one. Personality fit is everything in this role. The family is looking for someone who feels like a natural extension of the household. The schedule will be Monday through Thursday or Friday, 7:00am to 7:00pm. This is a full-time, live-out position based in New York City.

Requirements

Extensive professional nanny experience, ideally with multiple family references
Must be comfortable around and possibly occasionally assisting with the family's elderly dog
Comfortable and experienced working alongside a hands-on parent
Strong household organizational skills
Ability to travel domestically and internationally with the family
Warm, personable, and an excellent communicator
Valid driver’s license a plus
Legal to work in the US

Driving is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

Caring for three children and serving as a consistent, nurturing presence throughout the day
Light housekeeping with a focus on keeping the children’s spaces, kitchen, and play areas tidy and organized
Assisting with meal preparation and cooking for the children
Supporting homework and educational activities as needed
Swimming with the children and engaging them in active, age-appropriate play
Domestic and international travel with the family as needed
