Full-time Nanny in Mission Viejo, CA for a 1-year-old and a 5-year-old
About The Position
We are a thoughtful and trustworthy family of 5 seeking a full-time Nanny for our 1-year-old and 5-year-old daughters, and our newborn son. We are present and loving parents who value respect, open-mindedness, and a welcoming environment. Our eldest daughter enjoys dancing, music, creativity, dolls, Legos, and art projects. Our toddler is active and requires constant supervision. Our newborn is healthy and happy. We are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive, positive, and playful nanny who brings a sense of calm, is a problem-solver, and takes initiative. Flexibility, teamwork, and a genuine love for children are essential. The ideal candidate will foster independence while prioritizing safety and healthy boundaries. This is a long-term position for someone seeking a family to be a part of for many years.
Requirements
- 5 years minimum of childcare experience with children newborn – 6 years old.
- Willing to sign an NDA.
- Basic swim ability.
- A passport or willing to get one.
- Willing to travel with family.
- CPR certified or willing to get certified.
- Fluent in English.
- Flexible with scheduling with advance notice.
- Clean driving record.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Willing to drive children in the future when needed (using family vehicle).
- Comfortable working in a home with a small dog.

Responsibilities
- Caring for and multitasking the needs of a 5-year-old daughter, toddler, and infant, ensuring safety at all times.
- Communicating openly and working collaboratively with Mom.
- Engaging the eldest in creative play and activities, including tracing letters, educational activities, reading, and art projects.
- Assisting with pre-made snacks and drinks.
- Encouraging independence and modeling good manners.
- Performing all child-related care for the infant, including diaper changes, feeding, burping, soothing, following nap routines, and age-appropriate play.
- Traveling with the family 2-3 times per year.
- Performing light household tasks such as organizational tasks for kids’ spaces, tidying the playroom, organizing children’s closets, and helping the housekeeper with laundry when needed.
- Being flexible to help with additional tasks.
