Requirements

Nanny must have a driver's license, vehicle, and a clean driving record
Nanny MUST have previous nanny experience for a minimum of 2 years.

Nice To Haves

Experience with babies and understand that development happens through ordinary moments.
Willingness to read the same book twelve times, encourage those wobbly first steps, pack up for an outing, or sit on the floor and let a baby hand you the same toy approximately 37 times.
Understanding the difference between being helpful and needing to be managed.
Initiative, organization, patience, and really good judgment.
Genuinely enjoy building relationships with the families you work for.
Comfortable with a very friendly Golden Retriever.
Open to a long-term arrangement.
Open to traveling with the family, both to Florida and possibly internationally with advance notice.

Responsibilities

Love the child well, make his days fun, and eventually feel less like someone who comes to work and more like someone everyone is genuinely happy to see walk through the door.
See all of the child's curiosity and run with it.
Read books.
Turn on music and have a kitchen dance party.
Get on the floor and play.
Go for walks.
Find a library story time.
Meet another nanny and baby for a playdate.
Get outside.
Head to the pool.
Introduce the child to new places, people, and experiences as he grows.
Help with children’s laundry.
Help with some parent laundry.
Manage bottles.
Vacuuming.
Keep the child's spaces organized.
Make the child's meals as he grows.
Keep an eye on baby supplies.
Occasional errands.
Perform everyday tidying that prevents a household with a baby from looking quite as much like a household with a baby.
Notice when the family is down to the last three diapers and tell someone before diaper number three.
Switch laundry if the baby is happily sleeping and there's a load of laundry ready to switch.
Help toys find their way home if they have migrated into every room of the house.
Notice, anticipate, and take a few things off the mother's plate.
Occasional trip outside or refill of the water bowl for the dog.
Communicate.
Spend time around Grandparents and tag-team with Mom.
Learn the child's quirks, celebrate his milestones, know which song currently gets the biggest smile, and become another safe person in his world.
Travel with the family, both to Florida and possibly internationally with advance notice (bonus points).
