Nanny – Golden, CO
About The Position
A family in Golden, CO is seeking a warm, engaging, and dependable part-time nanny to care for their toddler. They are looking for someone who enjoys supporting early childhood development, loves spending time outdoors, and is interested in building a long-term relationship with their family. Experience with the Montessori approach is a strong plus. The schedule requires availability on Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with flexibility to 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Additional days may be considered later. Occasional date nights are also part of the role. The family has two friendly medium-sized dogs and security cameras in common areas and outside the home. They are open to a nanny share arrangement for the right candidate.
Requirements
- Prior professional childcare experience required
- Openness and willingness to perform household chores in addition to childcare
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
- Comfortable transporting the child when needed
- Comfortable around dogs
- Strong references required
- Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States
Nice To Haves
- Experience with the Montessori approach
- Montessori experience preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, nurturing care for a toddler
- Plan age-appropriate educational activities, sensory play, and arts and crafts
- Follow routines for feeding, diapering, dressing, naps, and personal care
- Plan and prepare meals for the child
- Light housekeeping and children's laundry
- Transport and accompany the child to activities as needed
- Accompany the family on occasional trips if needed
- Assist with letting the family dogs in and out as needed
