This position is for a nanny in Fox Chapel, PA, starting ASAP but flexible for the right candidate. The hours are Monday to Friday, 2 pm - 7 pm, with guaranteed 32 hours per week, plus one block of time on a weekend or evening weekly. The hourly rate is $36-42. The role involves caring for a 6-year-old child. There is a potential for one hypoallergenic dog later this year. Benefits include paid vacation (1 week family's choice, 1 week nanny's choice), 3 sick or personal days, and all major holidays. The nanny must have up-to-date vaccinations, including the annual flu shot, and enjoy summers at the pool.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Assist with light dinner prep, dishes, tidying, vacuuming or sweeping, and errands before the school bus arrives.
- Help with getting the house reset for the evening.
- Assist with letting a potential future dog into the fenced-in yard for potty breaks and occasional feedings.
- Occasionally help with school closures, evenings, weekend time, and summer camp pickups.
- Potentially join the family on a family vacation or business trip.
- Engage with the child in activities such as playing soccer, reading, nature exploration, swimming, art, making movies, and filming videos.
- Help with homework and ensure the child is settled for the evening.
- Create a steady, connected childhood for the son, acting as another steady adult in his life.
- Maintain the household's rhythm and ensure life runs smoothly.
- Be proactive and notice what needs to happen next without a detailed list.
