About The Position

This position is for a full-time nanny in Fox Chapel, PA, starting in mid-September. The role primarily involves caring for a 4-month-old baby boy, with occasional coverage for his 3-year-old sibling who attends daycare. Both parents work from home and are looking for an experienced and nurturing nanny who can manage the baby's routine, including feeding, soothing, naps, and age-appropriate play, while supporting developmental milestones. Light household tasks related to the children and pets are also expected. The family hopes for a nanny who can commit to about a year and become a trusted, calm presence.

Requirements

• Fully up to date on recommended vaccines.
• Previous nanny experience for a minimum of 2 years.
• Driver's license.
• Vehicle.
• Clean driving record.
• Significant experience caring for infants.
• Confidence in guiding feeding routines, naps, and age-appropriate activities.
• Gentle, patient, and deeply attentive demeanor.
• Proactive and organized.
• Communicative and emotionally aware.
• Trustworthy and reliable.
• Playful and creative in engaging babies.
• Comfortable working in a home where parents are present but focused on work.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Caring for a 4-month-old baby boy throughout the workday.
• Engaging the baby in age-appropriate play, talking, singing, tummy time, and floor play to support developmental milestones.
• Managing the baby's routine, including feeding, soothing, and naps.
• Providing coverage for the 3-year-old sibling during daycare closures.
• Assisting with light household tasks such as washing bottles, family dishes, children’s meal prep, children’s laundry, tidying play areas, and restocking nursery supplies.
• Caring for two small, friendly dogs by providing food, water, and occasional short walks.
• Communicating daily highlights of the baby's day to the parents.
